Marie-Ange Brayer is curator, head of the Design and Industrial Prospective Department at the National Museum of Modern Art, Center Pompidou. A doctor in the history of art and architecture (EHESS), she was director of the Frac Center in Orleans (1996 to 2014), where she developed a collection on experimental architecture and co-founded ArchiLab. In 2002, she is co-curator of the French Pavilion of the VIIIth International Biennial of Architecture of Venice. In 2017, she curated exhibitions "Print the World" and "Ross Lovegrove" at the Centre Pompidou; in 2018, curator of the "Design et merveilleux" exhibition at the MAMC of Saint-Etienne; 2019 : “La Fabrique du Vivant” at the Centre Pompidou. A specialist in design and architecture, she has published numerous articles in magazines and catalogs and regularly gives lectures in France and internationally.
