Claire Brunet

Claire Brunet is one of the French translators of Rosalind Krauss (Passages in Modern Sculpture) and Michael Fried (Absorption and theatricality, Painting and Beholder in the Age of Diderot, Manet’s Modernism, or the face of painting in the 1860s). Associate professor at the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay, she teaches philosophy in the design department and at ENSCI (école natio- nale supérieure de création industrielle). She also leads editorial projects with the T&P Work UNit workshop. She is the author of various articles, member of the Agora Bourse scientific committee, and member of the Centre de recherches en Design (CRD — ENS Paris-Saclay — ENSCI) where she is responsible of the Critical Studies and Design History axis. She recently published Variations Claude Imbert, T&P, with Sandra Laugier and Frédérique Ildefonse, and the last issue of Les Cahiers du MNAM (Hommage à Claude Imbert). Since 2008, she also publishes Charles Melman’s psychoanalitical seminar.
